There is some skincare that is made with pure love, passion and dedication to creating something amazing. The products feel amazing and work really well, the smells take you off to another place when applying them and the packing is just so darn beautiful, you want to put it in your living room for all to see. This is how I feel about Bodhi and Birch.
This stunning eco-luxury brand was created by the nicest, most humble and honest guy in beauty, Elijah Choo, who I’ve had the honour of meeting on a few occasions related to beauty and others, trying to become a squatter in his dream home in Warwickshire (this, my friends, is another story). The products are created with Eastern and Western skincare and wellbeing philosophies, an enormous amount of essential oils and active botanicals and it creates some high performing skincare without any of the nasties. It’s been featured in Vogue, Elle, Grazia, and Style and there is a serious cult following around this brand.
So when Elijah asked me if I wanted to try some of the products, there was absolutely no way that I was going to say no. I’d been meaning to buy some of the products for longer than I care to admit and was over the moon when he offered for me to try them. I tried the Rosa Rosa collection because my skin felt drier than the Sahara and it was suited for dry skin. Enter the world of Bodhi and Birch; amazing smells, amazing products, amazing results. This is what I found.
Rosa Rosa Clarifying Cleanser – £32.00
The cleanser looked beautiful and had loads of lovely jubbly ingredients in it. One of the main ingredients was Rosehip oil (a personal favourite for making my skin look tip top), but if you’ve ever smelt pure rosehip oil you’ll know it’s a bit whiffy! This wasn’t an issue however, the damask rose, orange blossom and camomile make it smell absolutely delicious. It foams slightly when you cleanse your face and melts away your makeup really well. I used a bamboo cloth with it as well because I swear by them (or muslin cloths) and my skin was left feeling cleansed, soft and super clean.
Rosa Rosa Hydrating Toner – £28.00
Now onto my favourite product. The Rosa Rosa Hydrating Toner is absolutely amazing. I LOVE putting this on twice a day and spraying it onto my face leaves it hydrated, refreshed and ready for being moisturised. The ingredients of damask rose floral water, orange blossom and camomile left my skin feeling hydrated and absolutely amazing. I would recommend everyone to have a toner as amazing as this in their beauty kit.
Rosa Rosa Daily Moisturiser – £35.00
Finally there was the Rosa Rosa Daily Moisturiser. This is a lightweight beautiful product with rosehip and meadowfoam (a fabulous antioxidant that makes your skin super soft) oils help to rejuvenate your skin and there is even some lovely Neroli to help you make your complexion look soft, and super-duper.
I’ve used the products for about a month now and I absolutely love using them. My skin feels amazing after cleasning, the toner feels fabulous and I love the way my skin feels after moisturising it. The website is beautiful to look at and the packaging is luxorious. If you want to treat yourself to some beautiful skincare that really does work, then this is your brand. I tried to think of some downsides and the only ones I can think of are…ummmm…none. You need these products in your life. Oh hang on. I’ve found one downside. There isn’t an exfoliator. Please could you make on Elijah? Pretty please?
If you want to find out more about Bodhi and Birch you can check out the website here > >. You can buy all the products separately or as a skincare set for £80. A bargain for a simply amazing skincare routine if you ask me.
