Beauty Heroes & Kari Gran

Beauty Heroes & Kari Gran

When you get sent sunscreen to try as a blogger, I tend to wince a little. It’s normally extremely thick, takes approximately the whole day to rub in and by the time you’re ready to get out in the sun, it’s gone in. So I was a little wary of the new Kari Gran range and the Three Sixty Five facial sunscreen. Well, there was actually nothing at all to worry (or wince) about. Three Sixty Five is a broad-spectrum sunscreen which protects against UVA and UVB rays which can burn and age the skin. It’s a physical sunscreen too because it contains non-nano zinc oxide which means you’re getting the maximum protection you need without any nasty ingredients at all.

The ingredients list is amazing including Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Kukui Oil, Macadamia Oil, Red Raspberry Seed Oil and Plum Oil which are great for anti-ageing but also compliments the non-nano zinc oxide so you really don’t have to worry about the sun when in the, er, sun.

The most important thing for me though is how it goes onto the skin. It’s a dream. Lightweight, doesn’t make your face look like a snowman when you’re trying to get that glow in summer, it’s not greasy, which is great for my ever greasy skin (more on that another time), and doesn’t contain any water in it, so is packed with only the best ingredients to give your skin the protection it needs with none of the fluff.

Not only did I get an amazing sunscreen with my Beauty Heroes box (you can check the box out here) but I also received a Kari Gran three piece skincare mini kit which included:

  • Cleansing Oil, 15 ml
  • Lavender Hydrating Tonic, 15 ml
  • Essential Serum, 10 ml

This is SUCH a great idea. When you get sent minis, half the time you never get a full set to try (or they are so teeny tiny you only get one use out of them) and I really love trying a cleanser, toner and serum from the same brand so you can see how your skin reacts. So far, I’ve loved using this skincare. It feels luxurious, I love the cleansing oil and thank goodness for a toner/tonic with no rose. Hurrah!

I think why Beauty Heroes is so great is that you can get an amazing box of goodies for $39 and consistently the products are worth over – this month’s being worth $83. Find me another box as good as that and I’ll eat my hat. You can buy the box until the 20th July {here} but I’d recommend you getting one asap so you don’t miss out.

I’m a proud ambassador for Beauty Heroes because I’m genuinely blown away every month by the boxes and I really want to help spread the word about them. So if you click on any of the links and buy I’ll get a little commission. Even if I didn’t though I would still promote Beauty Heroes because every month, these super powered beauty products, save my skin and my day.
