I’m a trained Makeup Up Artist from the London College of Fashion, a trained Beauty Therapist, a multi award winning beauty blogger, voted as one of the top 25 people moving natural beauty forward in the UK, and a pretty darn great marketing consultant (how does increasing a natural beauty brand’s Insta following by 22% in 12 weeks sound?). Phew, now that we’ve got the formalities out of the way, shall we get to know each other a bit more?!
A LIL' MORE ABOUT ME...
I’ve always struggled with my skin. I went on the pill when I was 16 because that’s what the doctor told me to do, so you did it, right?! I then spent the next 16 years on and off it with my skin varying each time. Sometimes it was dry, sometimes oily, sometimes spotty and it went on.
Until I hit 33 and decided that was it. I wanted to come off the pill and be free from the hormones that did all sorts of crazy things to me. And then it got REAL.
My skin went from fairly clear to covered in the worst hormonal acne of my life. It was all over my neck, on my chest and my back. My face looked like it had a constant rash and I was mortified.
HOW on earth could me, a natural beauty blogger have the skin that I did? My friends would ask me what happened and numerous people told me to get roaccutane.
But there was no way it was happening. I researched, I saw naturopaths, nutritionists, tried *every* clean beauty product under the sun until I figured out what worked and what didn’t and got my skin clear again.
It was a looooong old process and one that involved frustration, a few tears and a whole lotta faith to keep going, but I did it and have finally come out the other side with skin that I’m happy with and can go makeup free and feel confident.
I’m here to help you uncover the clean beauty products that are right for you, let you in on the nutritional things that helped me and get you clear and glowing skin quicker and easier than I did.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
You wake up in the morning and the first thing you think about is your skin. Is it clearer than last night? Did that new mask that I tried work? Is it less red than the night before? You hope, wish and pray that it is, yet are constantly disappointed when you look in the mirror.
You really try to forget about it but it’s so hard when you see your friends with their clear skin and ‘forgot to put makeup on’ days. *eyeroll emoji*
In the afternoon, your skin is so oily that you have to blot your skin and reapply powder for the gazillionth time. You have to present later on that day and know that everyone will just be staring at your face rather than listening to what you say. Sigh. Why does that have to happen to me?!
You feel overwhelmed, confused and downright frustrated at all the conflicting advice saying their miracle product / dermatology appointment / health coaching consultation will cure everything for you.
You get home and feel so low you make yourself some cheese on toast, pour yourself a glass of red wine and jump into your comfies to watch some netflix and zone out.
You scroll through Bumble but don’t actually want to go on a date as they will have to see your skin, and being rejected for that would be utterly embarassing.
Before you know it, it’s 1.30am and you’re still watching Netflix. You switch it off, to get an awful nights sleep and wake up the next morning with the only saving grace of it being a day closer to the weekend.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
