I love a good boogie. A night out dancing with your besties, being silly and having lots of fun is a form of therapy in itself. And if you’re like most of the people I know, you don’t want to have FOMO by going home early, so you stay up, party the night away and then wake up the next morning with your make-up still on (Gasp! Shock horror!), more than likely your clothes still on, and looking anything less than fresh.
Do not fear not my little party goer, I’ve come to the rescue and below are three top tips to get you looking from drab to absolutely fab in the morning on the way out to work
Pour water, ice and cucumber into the sink.
Then plunge your face in there for as long as you can bear it.
What happens is, the skin tightens up, looks brighter and less puffy due to the calming effect of the cucumber. And if it works for the ultimate party queen Kate Moss, then it will work for you too.
Put two teaspoons in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Put these onto your eyelids and gently press down. It will help de-puff your eye area, tighten up the skin and make you look more awake, brighter and less like you’ve had one too many vodka shots last night.
Put a whole lotta moisturiser on your face before applying make up.
Your skin will be mega dehydrated (not to mention your body so drink water whilst doing these steps!) so you need to apply a good deal of moisturiser or serum to make sure your skin looks plump, hydrated and happy. If you apply a couple of layers before applying your foundation, it will help keep it on for longer, help you look fresh for longer and your colleagues will wonder how you look so damn great with such little sleep!
If you can do these three tips above, it will help you look brighter, plumper and ready to take on the world.
